A Catholic Guide to Miscarriage, Stillbirth, and Infant Loss:

compassionate answers to difficult questions

In collaboration with Ave Maria Press, I am pleased to present a comprehensive handbook addressing the sensitive and often complex subject of Catholic teachings on miscarriage, stillbirth, and infant loss.

It is also a valuable resource for clergy, medical professionals, and individuals from diverse faith backgrounds who seek to offer meaningful support to those in need.

The content within this guide is the result of a heartfelt mission to bridge the gap between the teachings of Catholicism and the lived experiences of loss families. When I embarked on my journey as a bereavement doula and later confronted my own personal loss, I recognized the urgent need for such a resource.

This handbook, born from this necessity, offers a pragmatic and compassionate approach to navigating the intricate nuances of Catholic teachings, providing clarity and support during a time of profound vulnerability.
